Green Party of Nevada
Executive Committee Minutes.

In attendance at the Java Jungle on 1st street in Reno on February 19, 2007 at one PM were Charles Imboden and friend from Las Vegas, Craig Bergland, Paul Juntenen, and Kathy Rusco, all from Reno. Charles and friend arrived to attend the camp-out on the Legislative lawn in Carson City to highlight the plight of the homeless. Executive Committee business included voting on the 5 proposals sent via email by Jason Denzin as recorded below:

PROPOSAL:

A. Craig Bergland is appointed as GPNV Treasurer and will become one of the co-signators on the GPNV bank account. He will serve in this capacity until the first GPNV State Meeting in 2007 at which point he may be elected to serve his first full term or registered Greens in attendance may elect another Treasurer in his place.

B. Kathy Rusco is appointed as one of the GPNV Co-Chairs. She will serve in this capacity until the first GPNV State Meeting in 2007 at which point she may be elected to serve her first full term or registered Greens in attendance may elect another Co-Chair in her place.

C. The EC accepts the resignation of Jason Denzin (formerly Jason Halprin) as one of the GPNV Co-Chairs and removes his name from the list of signators on the GPNV bank account to become effective March 1, 2007. He will continue to respond to GPNV e-mails and maintain the website until a suitable replacement can be found.

D. The EC accepts the resignation of Genelle Denzin (formerly Genelle Baltutis) as the official Green Party of Nevada member on the Green Party of the United States Platform Committee to become effective March 1, 2007. There is no replacement at this time.

E. Once this proposal has been approved, the new members of the EC will immediately be empowered to participate fully in the duties of the EC.

TIME FRAME: Please respond with yea, nea, stand aside, amendments, concerns, or questions by 2/22/2006.

End proposal

Craig and Charles, both EC members voted yea on all 5 proposals, including Jason and Genelle's resignations. It was remarked that we are all appreciative to Jason and Genelle for their good work on behalf of our party, and this inclusion of that in these minutes is testimony to that. Craig and Charles voted yea on including Kathy Rusco as a co-chair, and Craig Bergland as acting treasurer for the state party. With these two members voting yea, and Jason's prior vote of yea, it is on record that Kathy Rusco is Co-chair, Craig Bergland is treasurer, and Jason and Genelle Denzen will be resigning at month's end. Let these minutes reflect this vote, and also the EC's commitment to continuing an on-line ongoing meeting to deal with planning the State Greens annual meeting coming up next month, and other issues as they are presented. It is urgent that before Jason and Genelle leave the state at month's end we resolve the issue of the State bank account currently in Las Vegas, and have all necessary paperwork done so that Craig's name can be included as a signator for that account, and Jason's name be removed. It is presumed that these minutes are sufficiently binding as to allow the legitimacy of this being acted upon and finalized.

This business concluded the EC adjourned.

These notes are being sent to individual recipients, as prior emails to state-lists have been returned. It is hoped that this can be resolved in the near future so that Greens state-wide can receive minutes and business on a timely basis. Until that time it is hoped that these minutes will be posted onto the State Green website for other to view. (previous attempts at utilizing state-lists have bounced back to sender with remark of 'too many recipients' -- something we can hopefully fix)
