Background

This domain name issue is proving to be a difficult one to overcome, indeed.

Apparently, twelvehorses.com is now a rather large and inaccessible corporation that has a 'hold' on the nevadagreenparty.org domain name so we are unable to switch companies while maintaining this domain name. Paul E. is working on a resolution for this and will hopefully have this ironed out soon. Part of the problem is maneuvering so that nevadagreenparty.org ends up registered in the name of the Green Party of Nevada, with the Green Party of Nevada credit card.

In the meantime, we need to get some more domain names so that this cannot happen again. Two of the past suggestions have been:

1) gpnv.org
2) greenpartyofnevada.org

Prosposal
-----------
Purchase both the gpnv.org and greenpartyofnevada.org domain names to be hosted at Gandi.net for one year. On Gandi.net, they claim these domain names to be about $14 per domain name per year. This will mean that we will spend up to $30 for the nevadagreenparty.org domain name for two years (according to the Domain Name Registration proposal that was just passed) and an additional $28 - $30 on the gpnv.org and greenpartyofnevada.org domain names for one year, all hosted on Gandi.net.

Long-term maintenance for three domain names would be approximately $45 per year.
